Session Description: Whether you are building a new home, are interested in renovating, or are interested in ways to save energy, there are many things you can do to make your home green. In this session, you'll learn easy strategies for creating a green home, including:
- How to enhance your indoor air quality
- Ways to contain contaminants in and around your home
- How to choose green products for renovations and new construction
- Simple ways to save energy and reduce energy costs

Every step counts in making your life more sustainable and eco-friendly. Each step you take helps make our world a cleaner, safer, healthier place. We’ll give you ten great tips to get you going green, and teach you how to make this a way of life.
This Workshop is followed by an Electronics Recycling Event – Bring your used electronics, including computers, printers and televisions to this recycling event. This event is a follow-up to our Fall 2011 event, but due to overwhelming need and associated costs of disposal charges will be applied depending upon size and type of electronic device.
